What’s up with VistaPrint?

A largely known company that goes by the name of VistaPrint has become caught up in a scandal of luring their customers into subscribing without knowing they did. A client's wife ordered what she thought were business cards and office supplies for the simple fee of shipping. Little did she know that wasn’t the situation.

The VistaPrint site advertised this free business card deal on their website. It implied that you can get address stickers for a low shipping cost. But the real deal is that in doing so, you also subscribed to a subscription by a company called Tec company AP9. Our client was charged $14.95 for something they didn’t know about because the company that they “supposedly” subscribed to was hidden in the terms of agreement.

So what is a big company like VistPrint doing getting caught up in a scam like this? Crazy, right?

This whole mess is certainly not going to be good for their business. Besides, their products aren’t even that great any way.
