So ladies and gentalmen on September the 14th 2010 Luice Design.net will be completely redone from head to toe. Along with the new web look, the design shop its self if going under surgery as well. Shortly after the new site the shop is going to have some new changes to its self. What brought about these changes? Luice Designs New Talent!!!!!!

Luice design has just hired some new blood. this young talented design graduated from Full Sail University in Florida as the salutatorian. (See kids school does pay off).

The designers name is Matt! And Matt is a tech junky just like the rest of the world. in fact he is so in love with design and computers that he has the pen tool icon tattooed on his left wrist!!! talk about passion people. Matt is just starting out here and is already on the way to proving himself.

When we were interviewing people for the positions we weren't just looking for those that had the training or talent we were also looking at the passion and personality. i mean face it we don't want some one that is going to come in and ruin our creative vibes. and thats just what we found. matt fits in so perfectly its like he's already family. this creative and inspiring designer had to create a test piece as part of his interview and in doing so ended up creating his first piece for Luice Design. The product that he came up with is a full color foil postcard.

We are so thrill with Matt that we cant wait to help him grow in this field and watch at all the amazing products that we know he can and will create.

Throughout this blogs history we have posted several things on silk2. well since then it seems that the silk2 has become quite popular. We are doing about 2 orders a week for that type of card. It appears to be the new IT card. And why wouldn't it. this card is so cutting edge that its insane. Incase you don't know the silk2 card is 2 16 pt thick silk cards that is essentially glued together for a whopping 32 pt thick card. Thats our thickest card yet. On top of the amazing feature of being super thick, silk2 allows you to die cut the top layer of your card. So you can have like your logo cut out*. Its really a cool concept. Per our conversation on Tuesday, I just wanted to let you know that I just received the business card sample pack. I was very impressed with your quality and the sample cards look great.

Per your request, I have attached my logo design (front/back) for your review. As I previously mentioned, I am trying to decide whether to get the foil stamp or UV spot business cards for my invitation and stationery company. I currently have foil on the front of my cards. I love the look of foil stamping but don't want to have any problems with the sides of the business card peeling. Do you think cold foil stamping would be a better alternative? Please let me know what you think and what coatings will look best with my design.

As I’m sure you have noticed, Luice Design has been getting tons of new products in. So with all of our new products we decided that it might be a good idea to get a new look to match. So our web site is getting a makeover!!!! By the end of this month Luice Design.net will look completely different. We are taking all of our products to the new site PLUS all of the new stuff. So now you won’t have to call every time you want to order velvet or suede or anything like that. In addition to adding the new products we are going to make the website more user friendly. Applized if you will. It’s going to be simple, clean and elegant so keep your eyes open for the new site. The countdown Begins!!!!

So we have tons of blogs and I’m sure if you read them that you have seen a blog on tips to make your business card shine. Well after that blog we seem to have a new trend emerging. The EURO CARD. The euro card is an odd sized card. Usually it’s half the height and a little shorter or longer. It’s such a unique card to be producing. The size does limit the design space but it makes your card just pop. Most clients make or have us design a new logo and put it on the card in foil or Spot UV, something and then make the background interesting and colorful and poof, a new and eye catching business card. Diffrent Kinds Of Wood? Hot Business Cards

Im sure you all have read on the blog post before that we offer wood card. So we have had quite a hit with them. We have ordered bamboo and maple cards the most.
